Monster 4 is set in a churchyard after nightfall, when the monsters are out and about playing with the skeletons.
The aim in this spooky strategy game is to be the first to get four of the monsters in a row. Steer clear of the giant spider which can jump in and scare you off, and play the skeleton ‘jokers’ at the right time to win.
LEGO Monster 4 is a variation on ‘Four in a Row’, and the monsters’ heads to collect include Devil, Werewolf, Pumpkin and Zombie figures.
With this self-build board game, a buildable LEGO dice, a rules booklet, and clear building instructions are all included. As with other games in this series, change the rules each time you play if you wish.
This game is easy to understand, but clever and exciting at the same time. It can keep between two and four players amused. Suitable for children aged seven or older, it retails for around £10. Given that children will get hours of fun from it, it’s great value for money. Each game will take between 15 and 25 minutes to play.
