As with all the latest LEGO games, you’ve got to build everything before you can play. The 95-piece set (No. 3847) includes a buildable dice and tiny spanner, 4 minifigures, and a formidable lava monster. He sits at the top of the board in his own lair which comes complete with 2 menacing black bats.
The aim of the game is to be the first to build a trail through the molten lava to the lava monster’s lair and the stash of gold treasure. Each player uses differently coloured bricks so it’s clear whose path is whose. It’s not a simple race against time; this is a game of strategy. Employ sneaky tricks to ensure your opponents don’t get the lava monster before you do. The best way to get there first is to surprise them with a bat attack, or put up a fire wall to block their progress.
The set comes with a rule booklet and building instruction.
